This project aimed to address common pain points by designing a personalized, in-app tax assistant to make tax filing more approachable, to improve guidance and to optimize feature discoverability.

Gen-Z users face tax-filing barriers due to process complexity, confusing navigation, unclear language and ineffective help tools.

From early concepts and design refinements, the individual features were consolidated and integrated with gamifications principles into one centralized solution: Turbi!
Turbi is a Floating Action Button (FAB) that offers helpful tools to ensure a smooth and efficient tax filing experience for users, such as tracking due dates and creating a personalized list of documents.
Users can control their experience with enhanced customization options, such as editing the buttons within the FAB and integrating helpful tutorials at key drop-off points.
